Over the last 12 years of working in corporates and startups, i found self confidence is not just an attribute but an essential asset one must work on.
Specially if you are a Manager, Leader, who handle multiple people or tasks as your role, it feels like the world is on your shoulders and not able to suffice it all can take a toll on your confidence or self worth
Here’s a simpler version with actionable pointers:
- Be Genuine and Believe in Yourself: Have faith in your abilities to tackle challenges and grow stronger. Avoid acting arrogant and focus on genuine self-belief.
- Take challenges as an Opportunity: Take on challenges that stretch your abilities but are achievable. Invest in yourself by mastering specific skills crucial to your business.
- Take Action Consistently: Commit to a task and ensure you are consistent, even if you fall back once in a while, get back to the rhythm. getting back every time will boost your confidence naturally and this consistency builds your confidence to the next level.
If you find yourself saying, “I just don’t feel that confident”, that’s a pretty good indicator that you haven’t mastered what you’re doing. And that’s OK.
4. Self-belief : Believe in your potential to succeed and make decisions with conviction. Remember, self -belief is essential for navigating the challenges of for anything and everything.
